+ 5 Years Safety Group Program

If your firm has been a part of Safety Groups for 5 or more years, you are welcome to return to the program for an additional year.  WSIB has made this allowance while preparing their new Acceditation Program which is still in the pilot stage.

What this means to you:

• You are able to continue or rejoin Safety Groups
• You will be eligible for the group rebate
• You have the opportunity to use the resources and networking the program offers

• You can use this year to prepare for acceditation

The +5 year program has 5 perscribed elements to be completed. 

1. Management Reveiw
2. Hazard Recognition
3. Risk Assessment
4. Control Activities
5. Return to Work

A year end report on these specific elements will be required , but no maintenance reports for previous years will be required.
